NikkiM

Hello

Welcome to my space and thanks for sharing in my buzy day!

My love for hand made things started @ a very early age, learning to crochet and knit from my Gran’s and purchasing my first recipe book @ the age 13 and driving my mom mad, having to cook and bake every single recipe in the book!

This love grew into my married life raising 3 boys and having the most loving husband that has always encouraged and financed all these hand craft adventures of mine!

Now a days the boys are big and live all over the world!   I still live in the same house with the same loving even more encouraging husband, with the finances and I had 4 little Jack Russel children, I lost my old lady, Milo on 2013-08-10 at a good old age of 15 and on 2014-11-21 my buddy Max at the age of 9 now I have two, Wizzer 18 and Molly 10.

Have a cuppa and enjoy my buzy day!

I hope to see you evey Saturday!

  1. Thank you so much for being nice enough to like my stumbling attempts at starting a blog 🙂 I love your work here, it’s all the delicious craft potential I saw here that drew me in, so it’s lovely to have already found someone who shares that passion!

  2. Hi Nikki

Your blog is gorgeous by the way, lots of lovely pictures to drool over. I will continue with my tour……

  5. I love your creations! So beautiful. Thanks for sharing and I’m sure I’ll be inspired by seeing what you do. Hurray for encouraging husbands who help us pursue creativity.

  6. Just beautiful 🙂 I love knitting and crochet and attempting to sew things. I’m not very, erm, talented at it, but I still enjoy it. I’ll be taking inspiration from your blog, I think!

  7. Wow, I really really love your blog. You have great talent and I look forward to seeing your posts! Thanks for the inspiration!

  8. Hi there just wanted to give you a quick heads up. The text
in your post seem to be running off the screen in Safari.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I thought I’d post
to let you know. The style and design look great though!
Hope you get the issue resolved soon. Many thanks

  9. Hi Nikki. Happy Holidays and thanks for liking my Christmas Baking Party post. It really is a fun gathering and I’ve done it several times… when I’m not to buzy 🙂 Having fun checking out your site. Looks like some fun ideas.

  10. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between usability and
visual appearance. I must say you have done a excellent job with this.

Also, the blog loads extremely quick for me on Chrome. Excellent Blog!

  11. I am extremely impressed along with your writing skills and also with the structure in your blog.

Is that this a paid topic or did you modify it your self?

Either way keep up the nice quality writing, it’s rare to
see a nice blog like this one nowadays..

    • Thanks for your lovely comment and visiting my buzy day blog.
I’m not paid and each topic comes to me on or before Friday of the week!
      Love
      Nikki

  19. Hi Nikki, thanks for dropping by The Call of the Pen and liking my Sock it to Me story. I just love your friendship braid quilt! I would love to have the talent, the time and the eyes to do quilting, but I think I’ll stick to my writing and making the occasional crocheted blanket or knitted jumper for my eight grandchildren. I’ll have to follow your blog, because there are so many wonderful ideas, I just might be inspired to bake, knit or crochet something 😉

  20. Thanks so much for liking my post just now 😊 I wish I was able to master a sewing machine, but I guess some things just aren’t meant to be…You on the other hand are very talented! Your pieces are so colourful and lovely. Love the blog also! x
