Hello

Welcome to my space and thanks for sharing in my buzy day!

My love for hand made things started @ a very early age, learning to crochet and knit from my Gran’s and purchasing my first recipe book @ the age 13 and driving my mom mad, having to cook and bake every single recipe in the book!

This love grew into my married life raising 3 boys and having the most loving husband that has always encouraged and financed all these hand craft adventures of mine!

Now a days the boys are big and live all over the world!   I still live in the same house with the same loving even more encouraging husband, with the finances and I had 4 little Jack Russel children, I lost my old lady, Milo on 2013-08-10 at a good old age of 15 and on 2014-11-21 my buddy Max at the age of 9 now I have two, Wizzer 18 and Molly 10.

Have a cuppa and enjoy my buzy day!

I hope to see you evey Saturday!

  20. Hi NikiM,
Saw that you liked my post on rock drops and decided to come and take a look at your blog. It’s really cool! I especially liked your owl tea cosies which are very professional and cute, and they definitely beat the charlie the chicken and collin the cat tea cosies from T G Woodwares. If I was any good with fabric then they would definitely be what I’d give my Mum for Mother’s Day.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and warm regards,
    Sean from about sean’s food.

  21. Hi Nikki! Thanks for visiting my humble little blog. I am enjoying your blog immensely over a cup of coffee…It’s been raining cats & Dogs for over a month here so, I am focusing on learning to crochet – oh my, how I wish I could just crochet a teenie tiny bit of what you share! That would be fabulous! Right now, it feels like I am trying to discover the theory of relativity! All the women in my family are amazing at all types of needlework and I am all thumbs….nice to meet you 🙂 ~maria

  22. Hi Nikki. Thank you for visiting my blog and liking my Grandma Nellie’s Chocolate Cake recipe. Check back tomorrow for the Frosting recipe. If you are the mother of three grown children . . . who is that beautiful young woman in your Gravatar picture!?!? Geesh. But I bet you love the freedom to be buzy on your own projects now that your chicks have fledged. Lovely blog.

    • Hi Susan
Thanks for your kind words. Yes I do enjoy my freedom now that the chicks have left the nest, that’s one of the perks of having children young! The boys do call me “Old Lady”! Hehe
      Love
      NikkiM
PS the camera was very kind!
