Sorry I didn’t blog last week, as I was in New York to meet my son’s fiancé and family! What a trip! My head is still spinning around! I’m not sure if its “jet lag” or the amazing few days I have had with my family! We had the whole family together! What joy! All three boys and a new daughter from another mother! I have decided this is the best way of having daughters. Get them when they’re big! Hehe! I just have one complaint. It was far too short! When I come home from a tip I get into “withdrawal state”, I think it’s because I can’t accept that the holiday is over!

I seem to have come back to earth, but now my head is spinning with new crafting ideas. It’s so nice to be able to make homemade gifts for girls. Oh I’m planning a quilt as the wedding is next year on the 30 August!

Found the pattern now I just need to go through my stash to find the fabrics.

Happy Crafting

  1. August 30, you have all kinds of time to make that wedding quilt. 🙂 Nice your family could be together. Relatively speaking, you were close. Close in the sense of same country. I’m on the other coast.

    • It was really good to have the whole family! The quilt I’m planning is a traditional medallion with lots of hand applique! Bit of a challenge as I don’t like hand work!

  2. I keep getting surprised hearing about your grown kids because in your photo you look like you should be surrounded by toddlers….
