A new tea cozy is hatched!

On my recent trip to Cape Town I had to go to Dots Quilt Shop.  I met Dot about 3 or 4 years ago weekend in Riebeecks Kasteel @ the Fynbos Quilt weekend.

I had some photos of the shop but a big gremlin has invaded my space and the photos are gone!  What does this gremlin want to do with these photos? I’m not sure!

The shop is situated in Epping an industrial area of Cape Town, don’t be put off by the drive and the area.  The shop is an oasis of the most beautiful bright fabrics and is a quilter’s paradise.  Dot stocks bright, upbeat, modern fabrics, notions and offers a quilting service.

I made a purchase and I do have evidence of this as my next project was made out of this purchase.  As you all know I make and sell tea cozies @ a local shop in town.  Well its Mothers day here in the south of Africa on the 2nd Sunday of May, so a new tea cozy was hatched.

  9. I have absolutely no need for a tea cozy, but this is so adorable I want to run out and buy a teapot just so I can have a cozy like this.

    • Enjoy! Teapots are great, I often have friend around and it’s nice to make the tea in a teapot and put a tea cozy over.
